If you're travelling and wanting a good budget hotel with a great location, this is the hotel for you. One thing I truly appreciated about this hotel aside from the awesome location for shopping, spas, restaurants and MTR location, is the the staff is truly honest! As my wife, 2 kids and I were going about our day's tour, my wife realized that she left her 2 expensive rings in the bathroom, obviously I had to take the MTR back to the hotel as fast as I could. Its been a few hours since we left the hotel, I thought the rings could have been gone and there would be nothing we could do about it, I was wrong. When I got back to the hotel, the cleaning lady just finished cleaning our room and when I entered the bathroom, the rings were placed nicely on the towel for us to see as soon as we got back. It turns out she called the front desk immediately as soon as she saw the rings and repoted it that we left them, the front desk just verified if I got the rings and everything was fine.

While I wasn't expecting the facilities to be up to standard of a 5 star hotel, I was expecting the staff to have some sort of customer service training. From the moment they slowly checked us in until they rushed us through their checkout process, it was almost as if they were doing us a favour by letting us pay to stay with them! The bathroom was rundown but fairly clean. The room was very tiny, there was barely enough room for two large suitcases to fit (in fact one had to live on the writing desk). The beds were small singles but ok in terms of soft/hardness. I think the one thing that let the hotel the most was the lack of interest shown by the front desk staff (the other members of staff were helpful).
