Stayed at: Sabah Hotel Sandakan
Sandakan is one of the cleanest cities I''ve seen in Malaysia, noting that I''ve lived and traveled in Malaysia for 4 years now. The front desk of the Sabah Hotel Sandakan recommended the Ocean View restaurant for dinner and it was excellent, and the price was very good (4 people, about six dishes was RM100, but I am not sure if that was a "local" price since we speak Chinese).
