Perth Hotel Reviews
Perth is a very nice place to visit, everything seems so ''cool'' down there, the people are friendly and the weather are very nice.
Perth and Fremantle are wonderful. Do the historical tram tours and visit the Little Creatures micro-brewery in Fremantle.
Perth is a beautiful city. FREE transportation in the central city area to most places that a tourist would want to go. Many things to do - you could spend two weeks staying in Perth and be occupied every day with fascinating things to do in the Perth environs.
Perth is a great city that offers a lot of outdoor activities as well as the normal urban attractions. A dinner cruise on the Swan River is always fun and a day at Rottnest Island is recommended. Make sure to bring your sunscreen.
It was a work tour and believe me you wouldn't want to go to the places where I went! Outside of this, Scarborough and Cottesloe beaches are beautiful places. The sand is fine and the sun was at its glorious best, beaming down at least 25 degrees C.
Situated at on end of a major central mall the hotel is in a quiet and safe area of Perth, close to transport for longer journeys and within easy walking distance to theatres, city arcades and shops and other major attractions.
We would highly recommend the "Swim with the wild dolphins" tour at Rockingham, one hour by courtesy bus from Perth. Kings Park is beautiful, the city itself is very clean and easy to find your way around. Swan River wine cruise was a lovely half day trip (Olive farm).
I would recommend going to MARGARET RIVER for a few days relaxation.
Most good restaurants and bars are located a cheap taxi ride away in Northbridge. The Essex restaurant in Freemantle is excellent. Travelled to Wave Rock and the Pinnacles desert; they are both quite a distance from Perth although well worth a look. Car rental is good value too.
Perth is a small city but with many big city ammenities. the centre is clean and compact with an excellent shopping area.the swan canning rivers surround the city on two sides and give it a very pretty waterfront setting.the city's indian Ocean beaches are clean and sandy and generally quiet.Fremantle is definately worth a day of your time, the 19th century buildings are well preserved and there is a quirky bohemian feel to the place with lots of good eateries and bars along the "cappucino strip".trips to the pinnacles and margartet river are worthwhile for the stunning natural beauty of the landscape.Perth has a lively nighttime scene to suit most tastes in the centre or in cosmopolitan Northbridge.
Perth is a nice clean city. The zoo is worth a visit, but not much else to do in the centre itself.
Very convenient for travelling to city from the hotel. A free shuttle bus is situated directly outside the hotel. However, do take note of the operation time. Regardless of the bus-stop it has reached, passengers are requested to alight once the opearting hours stop.
I found the free CAT buses very useful to get around the centre of town. I enjoyed a cycle ride around the river, although the saddle was rather hard. The area around the hotel was very pleasant for walking around.
If you are going to Perth and have over 24 hours available time go to the beach at Fremantle!
Perth has some of the best beaches in Australia - not to be missed!
I had lunch at Little River Winery & Restaurant, which is a wine maker near the Vines. It was good value for lunch.
