Gold Coast Hotel Reviews
Gold coast is fascinating. Numinbah valley adventure trail is a must go. It is a 120-150 minute horse-riding experience.
From Sea Wold Nara, there is a frequent shuttle that takes you direct to Surfers Paradise and beyond. It's about AS$16.00 round trip adult (price in Dec 2000). You can go in and out as often as you want in one day. The shuttle to Movie World, Dreamworld, Wet N wild , very efficient, on time. If you want to be more adventurous, you can take the local bus to other places of interest, and it's cheaper than a taxi, plus you see the local crowd. But, bring loose change for bus fare.Buses are efficient, and if uncertain , ask the bus driver, he'll direct you in the correct direction. Kids travel for half fare. Tour of Brisbane, we took GreyLine, came to pick us up from SeaWorld Nara, and then we went to Brisbane. Tour bus driver, very friendly and chatty. Only problem was that when other tourists on the bus are late, it sets your time back substantially. So, it helps if you keep time and this allows you to enjoy the tour more. very efficient, if you're rushed for time, tours are the best way to see the place. We travelled by local bus, taxi, and shuttle, tour bus. it was a good experience, and as long as you stay within the tourist belt, you're safe. After sunset, can get a little cold, best to wear long pants, cotton clothes for the summer months. On tour bus, bring a shawl/ jacket for kids. Can get cold with aircon blasting. near marina mirage, sea food place called Peter's seafood. great place to buy fresh prawns, oysters, fish, bugs, crabs, lobsters, and cold drinks. They'll cook the fish for you, breadcrumbs or batter. Sauces are also sold....terrific stuff if you're not cholesterol conscious!! Surfers Paradise, no problem, anything from East to West. There's a pizza place at Raptist Plaza, the pasta is amazing. Vegetarian pasta and Prawn pizza terrific!! Coles and Woolworths are great for budget conscious if you're cooking and have a full equipped kitchen , you can get everything from noodles to frozen dinners. The iced coffee is to die for( get the low fat milk ). Kids love the desserts and variety of drinks. Snacks, fruits, you name it.
I would recommend to visit theme parks in Goldcoast. They're so fun.
The indoor pool is very small. The outdoor one, as I viewed from the balcony (since it's closed for repairing!!) is a bit bigger!! But the location, a few steps from the beach and shopping mall, is very convenient. But next time I may try another hotel apartments which are closer to the beach.
Convienient location. 5 minutes walk to center of Surfers Paradise. Close to restaurants, pizza, bottle shop, convenience store, and beach.
Four Winds revolving restaurant. Pasha Turkish restaurant. We took taxi's most of the time.
