Location is excellent, just a 5 mins walk to ximending. =) Hotel staff are nice and friendly as well.

My overall stay can be consider not bad, as the location is in walking distance to ximending shopping paradise. only setback is that there isn't any waiting lobby for us to rest while checking out and waiting for our transport to pick us up to the Airport.

2nd time stay at here, everything is good, 5 minutes to XiMen MTR station

We opted to upgrade to a suite. That was the lifesaver. The rooms can be pretty small and dark, so the additional space and windows were much appreciated. Locationwise it is pretty good if your focus is the Ximen area. We ended up spending a lot of time around the Beitou area (along that train line), so we always had to change trains. But if Ximen is your thing, it is definitely a recommended place.

I stayed there for 2 days. And I'm really satisfied. They have really good services. Wi fi on every room and its fast. The room is clean but small and has no window. The bath room is really clean. The receptionists are helpful and friendly. Its located just a few blocks away from ximending mrt and shopping area, it takes about 5mins walk. I love it! :)

5 min walk to XiMenDing, but because it is still a slight distance away, street level noise is a minimum even though it is beside a main road. 10 min to XiMen MRT and 15-20 min walk to HuaXi Street Night Market near LongShanSi MRT. In terms of location, it is very convenient. Facilities are good: Hot/cold water cooler in the room, hairdryer, towels, shampoo, shower gel, toothbrush, slippers & TV in the room. Free internet service is provided in the basement beside the restaurant (albeit only 1 old pc terminal, but it works fine!). Service staff are commendable, friendly and helpful. Limo service to airport is provided upon request at affordable fee if traveling in a group of 2-4 people. Overall value for money! Definitely will be back again!!

There are wifi service on every floor which is very good! I don't need to bring a notebook but just with my iphone I can online. Rooms are quite old but clean. Location is ok because it's close to ximen district. Staff are very nice.

Well, well, well. The locations is really good near Xinme station. Definitely easy walking distance. The hotel seems also clean. But then again: my room didn't even have a window so it was pretty pitch dark. So hard to see. The visual experience was therefore marred. But what an aural feast. Pretty much each night around 4am the KTV goers found their way back to the hotel room and did they party. Starting like a classic Greek tragedy: a lot of exposition, a lot of effort in the rising action but then failure: no climax. At least for the female actors. Appreciated the inspiration though. Question is: is this hotel serving hourly guests?

Got a 4 bedder standard family room. The room is basic but clean and sufficiently sized for my family of 4 since most of the time we are out. Too bad there were no windows so we don't really know whats happening outside. Good consolation is that we don't have any traffic noise polluting. Overall satisfied with the hotel given 1)the good location in ximenting, 2)near MRT, 3)Friendly & helpful front desk service, 4)Clean rooms 5)Reasonable price

it is a nice place to visit indeed, the location is good and easy for us to scout for food. the staffs there provide us a good services like guiding us to our destination. In short, it is a recommended for those ppl who would like to look for budget hotel.

I'm satisfied with all aspects except that I hope the speed of the computer service provided at the restaurant there can be improved.

Definitely worth staying for a family of 4-5. I stayed at 9th floor and the room is spacious. There's only 1 bathroom if you consider as a pin point. Their service was really excellent and location wise pretty near to xi meng ding area. Nearby there is fastfood restaurant , family mart and Koi outlet is just a few stores beside the hotel. Overall i'd a pleasant stay compared to other budget hotel that i stayed previously.

It has been a very pleasant stay for me and my family. The staff are very patient, friendly and helpful. They remembered which room we stayed and promptly provided us with information that we need too. I will strongly recommend this hotel for those who are looking for budget stay. Very good location too. About 5-8mins walk to XMD. :P

Nice location but old looking hotel. Bus from Airport to straight to hotel is only before 4pm on the Sunday we arrived! We had to take a bus to Taipei Station and took a cab from there. Its about TWD100 from Taipei station to the hotel. Quite near. The MRT is also quite near from the hotel.

My feedback for this hotel you asked? It's just awesome! Arrived on 22 August 2010 and did my check in within approximate 2 mins. Front desk staff are friendly and helpful. They are always ready to provide you with the information you need. The room was relatively big for 4 guests with a king and a queen size bed and a toilet. The room is generally clean with hot and cold water dispenser in the room. However, they would have sone better if the bed wasn't that hard. It makes sleeping alittle uncomfortable. The noise level is okay though. Not as noisy as I expected after reading other reviews. I highly recommend this hotel for budget travellers. It's quite a comfy hotel for the price you paid for.

the staff there are very helpful and friendly, they even helped beyond their Job scopes to find me all trains schedule for other counties, cleaning service also very good, I'll definitely stay in this hotel again on my next trip end will recommend to my friends

Staff members were friendly and helpful, room was clean unfortunately our triple room has no window so was difficult to tell whether it is daytime or night. Furnishing and deco a bit dated. Location and transportation very good.

Royal Castle is located within Xi Men Ting and their staff are friendly. FREE internet service. Airport Express (FREEGO) stops right outside the hotel thus it is pretty convenient.
