Rydges Lakeland Resort Queenstown Reviews

The staff were courteous and extremely helpful. Service was exceptional. The rooms were great, clean, bright and spacious. The hotel was located minutes from anywhere in town. Our stay was a delight. I whole-heartedly recommend Rydges Hotel.

The location is perfect. Just outside the busy part of Queenstown, but right across the road from the lake. The service from the staff at the desk was excellent, and we were even offered a complimentary upgrade. The view of the lake is amazing! The hotel itself feels a little dated, but for the price we were very happy. The room was a good size, and everything was very clean. There was no noise from the street and the bed was very comfortable. Overall we were very happy with this hotel, and at the right price would definitely stay here again.

Comfortable room with a fabulous view and convenient location. Parts of the hotel look like they've seen better days, but the overall impression and atmosphere were still great.

A very large tourist hotel. We chose a budget room for an overnighter. If staying longer would have chosen a lakeview. Computer area was a bit disappointing.

We liked this hotel as it was in view of Lake Wakatipu and quite close to the town just 5mins walk. We had to upgrade our room to a triple to accomodate 3 of us and for a view of the lake. Pretty clean and comfortable although we had to walk up a flight of stairs as we were given M Floor which had no lift to it. We would stay here again if we go to Queenstown again.

We stayed in budget rooms at a very good price but were upgraded to a better room on our second visit. They had paid internet which worked. The dining room had a spectacular view and food was good for the price. It is a short walk to town along the Lakeside.

Rydges Lakeland Resort Queenstown,was in a very good location.Handy to town and the lakefront.very friendly staff.everything was to our satisfaction.Would certainly stay here again.Also recommend it to family and friends.

A hotel that is looking a touch past it's best, but the cost, given it was just a 5 minute walk to the town centre more than made up for it! When we visit Queenstown again we will cainly stay there!

Staff efficient and pleasant. Great location and view. Room satisfactory at price but didn't actually get the room type I booked on line. Told it would be an up grade. Would stay again but would confirm the room type and price match by email before leaving.

The budget room is definetely in need of a make over. The Bathroom Cistern pipe dripped water over the Bathroom floor. The Lake side room for the second night was far better, and very acceptable. Location is very handy to Town.

A bit expensive but decent hotel.

Exceptional service, comfortable, great views of the lake, however hotel is a bit run down and old. Small bathroom that desperately needs a fan inside. Walls were paper thin, could hear every noise and creak in the building. Room service started too early. Otherwise, for the budget price I would recommend to stay here.
