We received great service from all staff. Nothing was too much trouble. James and Michael from reception gave outstanding service

Excellent location. I attended a 3 day conference at Brisbane Convention Centre and I had direct access from the 2nd level of Rydges to the top floor of the Convention Centre. 2 mins only. Also, the best location with many very near by superb restaurants and cafes, walk along Southbank after dinner and only 5 minute walk to see a show at QPAC. Very quick check in and check out. Will definitely stay again.

We had a great stay. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. When we asked for something, ie leave luggage at reception and collect before our flight; nothing was any trouble. The room service was much appreciated. The location to South Brisbane train station was close and South Bank only across the road was terrific. The breakfast buffet was tops.

The prefect location for a visit to Brisbane. Restaurants at your door, and the staff are very helpful about the surrounds. Highly recommended.

My friend and I wished to go to art exhibitions mainly and Rydges was recommended by a local. We found the location splendid and we were able to walk to all three venues and were near the river which is a lovely place to walk along. We had a room with 3 beds rather than 2 but it was comfortable and pleasant with a balcony to sit out on in the morning.

Well positioned hotel on South Bank close to all the cultural facilities. The rooms are large, bed was comfortable, room service was prompt. There is a good cafe downstairs. The staff on the front desk were helpful. I liked the hotel but can only afford to stay here when there are discounts as otherwise it is too expensive.

Great location, excellent spacious room, and curiously, even though I had nominated one of the two newspapers offered, both were outside my door the next morning. Having a microwave and sink in the room is a great idea, but the hotel's restaurants are excellent.

the room was excellent . staff helpful and courtious. especially the valet parking for some visiting with a car. Only complaint was the CBD cafe on the ground floor very noise. Traffic very loud. Also pillows very ordinary. Too flat an uncomfortable.

it was a very comfortable stay, my only complaint was that it said it had a pool but the pool is actually a 5 min walk from the building!!!!

Facilities would be rated higher if onsite swimming pool was available. Additionally, I find it somewhat disconcerting that many hotels (including this one), want to cater for business & leisure, yet charge for internet access - there are still many hotels that do offer this as part of the price, which is probably in recognition that there are many locations around cities/towns/rural parts where legitimate & free access can be gained.

Very warm, welcoming & friendly staff who genuinely want to help. An excellent venue close to the Southbank precinct.

Good quality hotel at the right price, easily accessible by the Airport Railway.

A great place to stay if you are going to see a show. Staff very friendly. Great restaurants and cafes nearby. Would stay here again.

Great location easy 10 min walk to major shopping centre and literally 2 mins to the beautiful gardens and "beach". Plenty of dinning options close at hand

We enjoyed our stay at the Ridges South Bank as it is in a great location, handy to all transport, cafes and a short walk accross the bridge to great shopping. We were upgraded on arrival which was a nice supprise, the room was spacious & clean. We would definately stay there again.

Excellent hotel. Spacious rooms and right near lively South Bank.

Very convenient for the convention centre but not for much else. Valet parking only (at $25 a night) and not easy to get to by car unless you know the South Bank area. Unless you want the family facilities, staying in the CBD and getting a cab to South Bank may be better.

I thought the water pressure in the shower was too low. I'm aware that Australia has a water shortage at present but the showers were delivering less water than I experience elsewhere.

The hotel is right next to the COnvention Centre which is useful if you work there. South Bank is quite a lively area with many restaurants, one cinema and the foreshore nearby. Don't expect the usual Rydges 5 star rooms... This is Novotel class with a sink, a microwave and a fridge in the room. The staff are great and valet car parking is free. All in all a good hotel.
