Hotel is located at the foot of Bongi mountain near the central part of ChunChon city. location has a great view with beautiful grounds and is a very peaceful location. Hotel staff is top notch and very responsive. If you don't have a car the location is a bit out of the way and you will have some hikes uphill returning the hotel if you venture into the city. The Myongdong shopping district is about a 15 min walk from the hotel. Hotel is a bit old and in dire need of renovation. Rooms are very small as well. they seem to charge for every incidental (shampoo, toothbrush, etc) that other hotels would provide for free. if you are staying more than 1 or 2 days you will need to opt for a larger than double room. Cost is not really competitive with some of the other facilities in ChunChon Hotel seems to do quite a few weddings and other events as they have two large meeting facilities and an outdoor grounds that support this.
