Good quality Hotel with excellent location right next to Clarke Quay offering great acess to night life (restaurants, bars, nightclubs).

Generally good and position is good for taking a walk and having food

A well maintained property close to Clarke Quay and it's many restaurants. The hotel's restaurant is mainly geared for Asian tastes and is buffet style which means that you pay a set charge even if you only require a light meal, which can make it expensive.

The service was excellent, all the staff were very helpful and friendly. The only problem we had was that they only had limited breakfast choice - buffet or what they called a la carte, which in fact was a set priced menu which took extremely long to be served - all we wanted was a quick continental breakfast which should have been available on the buffet. The room was clean and functional, plenty of space and amenities. The bathtowels were a bit thin and old though. Other than that, we were extremely happy with the choice.

Best feature - location, location, LOCATION. At Clark Quay and within 100 m from MRT or cross 2 lane side road to Central Shopping complex with Supermarket and many places to eat. Rooms were a bit dated and hotel definately not 5 Stars (both service and quality). Breakfast 31 SGD (20% off for in-house quest) average with rock like pancakes. I could not even cut into them. Ants all over the bedroom desk. Bathtub/shower leaked water from the edges so floor was always wet. Corridor smelled funky, but had decent view of Clark Quay. Standard Swissotel amendaties in the room. You will not get any Swissotel member points from booking online. Last day the electricity went out so there was no cable TV and no lights in the lobby for half a day. Initial second key card did not work and promissed a late check out until 1pm, but was chased out at 12pm. May consider staying again as hotel has one of the best locations only.

Good location and friendly service

Overall, the hotel and the rooms were good, although somewhat pricey. The location was excellent- by Clarke Quay and next to the MRT. However, the business room was a disappointment for a "business hotel''- only open business hours and a few hours on Saturday, and the charges to use it were excessive (eg $1.50 for each page printed). Many other hotels in Singapore had 24hr business centers free for guests.

The front desk and service staff were very knowlegdable and helpful. I went as a tourist and found that some of the staff treated people in suits, better than if you were dressed casually.
