Tralala Hotel Montreux Reviews

Great hotel! Nicely decorated rooms, although not that spacious. Free public transport card for each guest (valid for 50% on boat and GoldenPass Train!). Free fast Wifi connection everywhere in the hotel. Free welcome drink. Helpful and friendly staff. Location is a little bit uphill in the old town, so be prepared for a little exercise when you return from the lake at night.

The hotel is conveniently located where there is easy access to public transport. The bus-stop to Montreux is directly opposite the hotel and the hotel provides you with a bus pass that has 15 journeys loaded onto it. In my room was a small fridge that was stocked with bottled water, canned drinks and confectionery. I am not sure if this was complimentary as I was not charged extra for the water that I used. My only negative would be that the receptionist with whom I dealt on the last day was a bit inflexible about the time in which I had to vacate my room. Signing out is usually 12 noon but I had t be at the airport for 14:15. To leave the hotel at 12 meant that I had at least an hour extra wait at the airport. I would have preferred to spend that hour in the hotel room but they insisted that I vacate at 12 noon.

A friendly hotel and met my requirements. The room is modern and free wifi too. It is a walking distance from the railway station but an uphill walk. Bus No. 6 stop is right in front of the hotel for those who do need the exercise.
