Guest comments The Ambassador has the best buffet breakfast of any other hotel in it's price range. I've stayed here many times over the past 10 years. The rooms are good, not great. Soon it will be part of the Mecure Hotel chain and I'll have to see how the new management will perform.

Guest commentsBig rooms, however, slightly weathered. Good location in the middle of both main strips.

Guest commentsThe ambassador is in a great location and would probably go back there again. Breakfast was great and the prices were good. It's a 3 start hotel but honestly its great because if you travel to US, Europe or australia you don't get breakfast buffets as you do in asian countries so it was worth the little money we paid.

Guest commentsBasically the hotel is tired, I note there are some renovations underway. But having stayed at Manhattan Hotel 3 times before, Manhattan beats this location easily. It is noisy and the charges in the business centre for guests are too high, as well I was overcharged for internet time and the internet speed was very slow.

Guest commentsThe hotel's Tower Wing currently has several areas blocked-off -- for renovations and remodeling? it is signposted with apologies and rerouting. Serviced apartments are spacious, but a long walk from the lobby.

Guest commentsI was booked in a deluxe suite , it was a large bedroom with seperate bathroom and kitchen , the only problem is the state of the room , it was like a bunch of kids had been playing football in there , the parquet floor was coming up in several places and the walls and ceilings had untold stains all over the place. For the money charged , you could do a lot better . Dont use the bars either , 200 baht for a small beer!!

Guest commentsThe Hotel entrance was excellent but the room was a disappointment. We requested a double, but were given a twin room. The room was in need of extensive renovation. The TV picture had poor reception. The price was high for a room of that quality in Bangkok, especially for a last minute deal.
