Guest commentsI found it completely satisfactory in meeting my needs for a hotel in Kyoto. The room was a bit small but that is expected for a moderate priced hotel in Japan.

Guest commentsNice Hotel! The staff were very helpful and made their best effort to help you with any problems or quastions you might had. The breakfast at the restaurant was good and at a price of only $15 it was a bargain. I donīt really have anything to complain about not even the staffs englishskill and in a country like Japan thatīs unheard off. I would highly recommend this hotel for everyone eventhough itīs a bit away from the main shopping streets and market. Taxis in Japan doesnīt drain your vallet so if you find it hard to use busses or the subway, just grab a cab :-)

Guest commentsRooms were adequate for people using the hotel as a base for sight seeing. Approximately a 10 minute walk from the centre of Kyoto but 3 mins from the subway. We would consider this hotel again.

Guest commentsWe paid $280 per night for 3 people in a small room. No inclusions, no breakfast, no newspaper, no bus shutttle to and from main station. Service desk at most times had 2 staff memebers even at very busy times, this hotel was the last of 4 hotel around Japan, and having experienced Japanese service this hotel rated very poorly.wouldn't complain at a lower rate or even if breakfast was included.

Guest commentsA pleasant and comfortable hotel conveniently located close to subway and bus. Staff were polite and friendly, and those at reception had reasonable English. Semi-double room was adequate for one person but cramped for two. The quiet location, comfortable bed and blackout curtains should have made for a good night's sleep, however the airconditioning thermostat seemed to be non-functioning and the room was uncomfortably warm and stuffy. The buffet breakfast was well worth 1732 yen, with a good selection of Japanese and western foods, but if you book early enough you may get a breakfast-included deal.
