Guest commentsRooms had a musk smell, the hallway smelt of amonia(wee). The Decore is very outdated. The pillows were so large we had sore necks after using them. The location is very busy with thr markets down stairs & having to wade through crowds just to get away from the hotel wasn't pleasant. The breakfast was good. The staff were very helpful. The pool was a good place to relax away from the heat & the crowds. Suggestion is you're going to here from the airport, get the hotel name in Thai (I wish HotelClub would have provided this) as there's 3 Baiyoke hotels & they'll automatically dump you several blocks away & the Sky. Also ask for a Meter Taxi & take the Toll road. It will be under 300Bt (including tolls & 50bt airport tax).

Guest commentsRooms & decore are quite old & room had a distinct unpleasant musk/damp smell. Pillows were very large & uncomfortable due to their height. Staff were nice, friendly & helpful. Breakfast was good - standard full Western & Asian buffet. Location - great if you like shopping, bad if you hate crowds (markets are right at the front door). Pool area was nice & a good place to relax. I probably won't stay here again.

Guest commentsYou get what you pay. You want more, check in Baiyoke Sky and pay more. Otherwise, don't complain. Many have given unfair comments before this that I was worried about staying there. Sure, it can do with new carpeting/bed/linen.. but it may cost more. If you booked to stay there, get real. If you were only willing to pay that much, ie a price much less than 5 star hotel, please don't kid yoursef and get all high and mighty, and expecting 1st class accomodation. The staff handling check-ins/out were very helpful. So were the ones looking out for your left luggage after checking out, yup, they actually looked after your luggage after you've checked out should you want to grab lunch before leaving for the airport. That was a pleasant surprise. Location-wise, it is superb. almost 24x7 you can be out and about the stalls around. Eateries all around. Those looking for halal food will find a number of places within the vicinity.

Guest commentsGood value for money if you want to stay in a busy bazar area. The selection of good restaurants nearby is not overwhelming.
