| Guest comments | This hotel is in a perfect location. The facilities are great and the buffet breakfast was plentiful. Also the rooms were nice and large with a great view over the bay/ocean. My only complaint is the mould in the bathroom. I would not care if it was a 2 star place or so but the bayview is a classy 4 star hotel. Cleaners should be using bleach on a daily basis when cleaning the rooms so as to prevent mould from occuring. Despite this I would definately stay here again due to the service and facilities on offer. |

| Guest comments | This hotel has aproblem with small beetles. We had to kill them on a daily basis.
Our room number was 618, I don't know if other rooms were similarly effected. |

| Guest comments | I liked the Bayview Georgetown Penang very much. The staff were really friendly and went out of their way to be helpful. I would have liked yoghurt on the breakfast buffet but otherwise it was great. We are vegetarians and found the food restrictive but that applied to all the other hotels we stayed at too. Also, the pool is a little small. The location of the hotel is good and near to shops and places to visit. Also we had a wonderful sea view from the enormous window in our bedroom. I would definitely stay there again. |

| Guest comments | Very friendly staff, close to amenities, fantastic band on Tuesday evening. Mary, one of the staff in the lobby bar rates a special mention as someone who was very helpful and friendly. She is a credit to the hotel. |

| Guest comments | A very good hotel for the money. Good service. Biggest complaint is lousy breakfast and inavailability of free/or faily priced internet service in the room. Instead of charging RM20 for the whole day it should be charged per hour. |

| Guest comments | Quick check in, prompt service, the hotel room is considered big for a standard room and it gets cleaned up every single day. The buffet breakfast was boring and not up to the standard, they had the same menu everyday and it gets a little frustrating when you stay for more than 3 days. I'm not happy with it. The room service menu had quite a bit of variation and offers a slightly better quality of food but the price was ridiculous. But there's plenty of hawkers food around the hotel so you won't get any trouble on finding nice local foods (and CHEAP). The entertainment was boring. But behind the hotel there's plenty of bars, pubs, clubs, and fancy restaurants. Staffs are very helping and pleasant. Overall, I enjoyed the stay and would not mind to come back. |
