| Guest comments | In a city where personnel in the hospitality industry do not smile much, Clarion Suites Gateway staffs are suprisingly friendly and helpful. They greeted us as we were leaving and entering everyday. |

| Guest comments | We were happy with the studio room, although it was very small. It was great for a few nights, but not something that would be comfortable for us, for any more than that. It was quiet, warm and clean. The service was pleasant and staff helpful. The hotel was a short walk to the Casino and Convention Centre and also close to trams etc. |

| Guest comments | We had a riverview kingsize bed room. The bathroom is tiny - just a shower over the bath with a stupid half screen (and lots of water leaking over the toilet). They say they are about to renovate - these bathrooms need it! The bed was OK. Great location, we could walk everywhere we needed to go from the Hotel. The breakafast in the Restaurant was fine, as was the one evening meal we ate there.
My daughter ended up in a one bedroom apartment. No view, but the facilities were fantastic! |

| Guest comments | Excellent hotel, needed 4 single beds, got upgraded to a 3 bedroom penthouse on arrival. On a Sat. nite as well ! Fantastic place to stay, really prof. & helpful staff. Top class facilities & rooms. Great views over the Yarra & out to the bay. I'd highly recommend this place. |

| Guest comments | Ideally located being close to Southbank shops, restaurants, Casino, City Tram, Flinders Street Train Station etc, although slightly compromised by the train movements and noise.
Rooms were spacious, but split bathroom design was not all that convenient. Points off for beds not being made on Anzac Day holiday.
Otherwise very enjoyabe. Would stay there again. |

| Guest comments | A very nice place to stay with helpful staff. Although we had some inital concerns with our room not having a balcony as requested, hotel staff quickly ammended the problem. This is the second time that we have stayed, once in a one bedroom apartment, this time in the studio. We particularly enjoyed the 'luxury' of the apartment. Lovely holiday! |
