| Guest comments | I enjoyed my stay at The Hides Hotel In Cairns very central to everywhere.Very clean and the staff were very pleasant.Will stay there on my trip next year.

| Guest comments | Staff are friendly but not very attentive. Took 2 days to deliver a box left for me at front desk. When a computer caught fire (flames, smoke) and I told them to call the fire department, the desk attendant said "the computers are not my problem". Good location. |

| Guest comments | We chose it because of its 'old Australia' style and position and were glad that we did. One doesn't often get more from a hotel than one expects but here we were given a 'light evening meal' voucher and met some interesting people as a result. |
