Guest comments	The hotel was good value for money for the convenience of being in the city. The only complaint I would have is the resturant is only open for Breakfast on weekends and service at breakfast was extremely slow and the food was average for the price being charged. Would suggest going elsewhere for breakfast.

Guest comments	the staff at reception were excellent. it was a shame the restaurant doesnt operate on weekends but it is so close to the mall it wasnt a problem. will definitely stay there again

Guest comments	The hotel, part of the YMCA, served the purpose that we were there for, ie cheap room and place to drop our stuff. Extremely small room, but quiet and clean. Great cafe/restaurant attached to the lobby.

Guest comments	myself and a mate attended a seminar in brisbane my freind stayed a the oakes and had to change rooms and was generally mucked about whilst i stayed at the george williams booking in and out was smooth and fast it was an excelent stay thanks to all the staff

Guest comments	The staff were lovely and helpful. We left our digital camera in our room by accident when we checked out and it was stored away safe and secure until we could return to get it. The rooms are a good size and is in an excellent location, right in the heart of the city. Would definitely recommend this to anyone travelling to Brisbane.

Guest comments	We stay here often as the location is excellent. Easy walking distance to Queen Street Mall and Casino. Rooms are very comfortable but a bit small, but this is reflected in their more competitive pricing. I've paid a lot more for less. Recommended.

Guest comments	I was a bit surprised to see that the Hotel George Williams is actually a YMCA but the quality, cleanliness and service were second to none! The room was small, but immaculate and well-appointed. The ensuite was excellent. Importantly for me, the security was very good and the room was very quiet. I got a great night's sleep and the staff were very cordial and helpful. The only small criticism would be that the airconditioning had to be on all night, as none of the windows open. It was reasonably loud but it was constant and not at all disrutpive. A very small price to pay for the security and peace & quiet! I recommend this hotel very highly for the budget and short-stay traveller.
