| Guest comments | The hotel was at a relatively good location, just north of the bund's zhongshan road. Very convenient for touring (and clubbing) this area, plus Nanjing road & Yuyuan garden. A bit of a farther drive to Huaihai Road, Xintiandi, and downtown.
Really okay for a 4-star hotel. So dont compare it to 5-star hotel coz it sure is not.
The breakfast buffet was a bit mediocre, but at the least good to fill your stomach for the morning.
Has a rooftop bar good for some night photos. And oh, there's a Starbucks across the street. |

| Guest comments | Average 3 star hotel which is value for money. The location was very close to the Bund and Nanjing Rd if you don't mind walking 10 to 15 minutes (often down back streets). The hotel had a very good bar on the roof level with spectacular views over Shanghai. The rooms were big and roomy with windows that opened and gave wonderful views over the city. Overall it was a good experience at the Hengsheng Peninsula! |

| Guest comments | Pity the hotel does not have shuttle service from Pudong airport. On arrival, we had some difficulties in finding transportation to the hotel as there were six of us and plenty of luggage. At the end, we have hired a seven-seater plus driver for RMB$300 to take us to the hotel. The concierge staff at the hotel have been most helpful and those I have spoken to were able to communicate well in English. |
