| Guest comments | parking offsite was annoying and after going out to a concert and getting back to the hotel at 10.30pm on a friday night and find the hotel bar/lounge area closed was dissapointing. |

| Guest comments | The room and general building seemed in need of a makeover, it all looked so old, worn and grubby, fittings and fixtures very old fashioned, although the bar was nicely done out and the restaurant looked ok although we didn't have breakfast there. I wouldn't stay there again as the room was dirty and drab, a bit depressing really. The staff were very friendly and nice though. |

| Guest comments | Great service, we even extended our stay. Very convenient location just across the bridge to Northbridge and access to CAT/train services. Room service food was not good and overpriced but overall a good hotel. |

| Guest comments | Would not stay at this hotel again rooms need upgrading it is certainly not a 4 star, had to request pillow as only 3 and coffee/sugar, mini bar and facilities in the bathroom, very noisy walls must be very thin. Seems a lot of money was spent on the receiption area. |

| Guest comments | I arrived in the early hours from an international flight only to find that they had let my room to someone else - despite being advised of my late arrival. The manager seemed to think he was doing me a favour by putting me into an ancient suite for the night.
The sheets on the bed were not changed once in the five nights I stayed. Some days towels appeared some days not. And if if you do stay here please DO NOT look under the beds - I dropped a dollar and it rolled under - I decided to leave it where it was!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

| Guest comments | This hotel has run down facilities and is overpriced for the service provided. The rooms have a 1870s feel about them. Staff are not particularly helpful, prefering to attend to administrative tasks than to serve you at reception. |
