Guest commentsthe room was large clean and comfortable. the staff didnt speak very good english but could kind of get by, they are not too friendly sometimes, its better just to ignore it! the hotel has a bar but it closes early and a casino. it also has a pool, but it closes with certain seasons so worth checking it out when its closed. no breakfast included in room, and no resturant in hotel

Guest commentsThe hotel lobby will welcome you with a strong smell of cigarette smoke coming (which i discovered) from the hotel casino at the ground floor. The room is spacious and clean but the bed is so hard. Housekeeping service is quite good. Food served at breakfast was the same for the 4 nights we stayed that consisted only of cereals, boiled eggs, vienna sausages, congee and bland vegetables, coffee/tea/orange juice. The hotel is near the Venetian Resort Hotel and Casino just 4mins by taxi. I suggest that the hotel reception should employ more staff who can speak english.

Guest commentsAverage all the cleanliness, facilities and service is ok. But this hotel should renovate the room. cos i realised, the carpet and the wall got water coming near our bed.

Guest commentsVery tired and shabby. The rooms were a good size. The Grand Restaurant left wanting, poor food, poor service and poor wine list.

Guest commentsThe hotel staff does not speak english at all. None of the staff could help on pretty much anything. The buffet breakfast is really really bad, not only it tast very bad, its the same breakfast over and ever each day. Therefore if you stay there for more than three days, you will be eating the same thing over and over.

Guest comments This hotel is very good value and is in an excellent location, being within walking distance to the new Venetian complex and having lots of good restaurants of all levels in the old twon of Taipa very nearby, yet very close to the bridge to Macau proper. The rooms are very large. The only negative as far as we were concerned was that the gym that they advertise consists of a bicycle and rowing machine only.

Guest commentsBreakfast served is not fabulous but can still find bread, ham, juice, porridge, fried noodles ~ good enough to fill the stomach. Bus-stops can be found juz across the street. Make travelling very convenient, even to Macau or Colanese. Staff are helpful but not friendly. Rooms are neat and clean, so will still choose to go back to this hotel for my next trip to Macau and will recommend to all friends. However, must know the Chinese name of this hotel~ ???? as almost all taxi drivers do not know where is Best Wertern Taipa Hotel Macau.

Guest commentsStaffs are very helpful but not friendly. The room is very spacious, clean and neat ... but feel that the hotel can improve the smell of Smoking-room ... Bus-stops can be found across the street and made travelling very convenient. Breakfast served is not fabulous but for the rate that we paid for ... will rate 75%. Will still go back to the same hotel for my next trip to Macau.
