Guest commentswe chose this hotel because we especially wanted to relax amongst the gardens after a holiday in europe. I could not fault it. The rooms are large and tastefully decorated in Thai style. The service is outstandingly good, the breakfast is something to experience - amazing choice of food with a wonderful location beside the river. Because our flight home was 8 am we had room service at 5 am and it was excellent. The pool and surroundings are just beautiful and happy hour is buy one drink get one free! if you want to go shopping or have dinner outside, there is a continuous boat shuttle to the nearest sky train 15 mins away that is well used. This was the best hotel we have ever stayed in

Guest commentsAn extremely comfortable room and great surroundings with a large pool. The location was not in the center of the city, but we chose it because it was a restful escape from a very busy city. The boat transport from the city center was convenient and pleasant. We highly recommend this Marriott.

Guest commentsWe stayed three nights at this hotel on our way back home from Sydney.I can recommend this hotel for his excellent location,a good price quality(except for the wines who are quite expensive). The food is excellent, nice rooms, good service, very nice location on the waterfront.A free boat shuttle to the center every 15 minutes... it's great. As our plane was leaving at 00.30 a.m. we could have used a very late check out. This unfortunately was refused. Try to obtain it when you book...maybe you get it.Beside this it is an outstanding hotel.

Guest commentsWe stayed twice. the first stay was excellent. On arrival for the second it took longer to register than it had to get through Bangkok airport. Seemed there was some debate about our level of accommodation. Perhaps they upgraded us the first time and not told us but we had to argue an expectation for the same room the second. The bookings had been identical based on the receipt printed from Hotel Clubs system. The room given was the same but had problems with the toilet. The Marriott also seems to be obsessed with supplying heavy douvets even when the night time temperature is well into the 20's. It took some effort to have the cleaning staff understand the need for a light weight blanket. The meals were good value and reasonably priced - The Riverside Restaurant evening buffet very varied and great value for money.

Guest commentsOur family of 2 adults and 2 children stayed in adjoining rooms for a week. The experience was wonderful, a fantastic introduction to Bangkok for young children - a safe, clean, luxurious place to stay with excellent on site facilities (pool, spa / massage, restaurants, shopping, organised tours etc). Although located well out of the central CBD area, the complimentary ferry service run by the hotel takes you straight to a sky train station, from where it is easy to negotiate your way to key attractions. We would definitely return!!
