Guest commentsThe facilities and standard of service are impeccable. The pool is magnificent. The rooms and beds are wonderful. The location is away from the better parts of the city and a walk along the street outside the hotel assaults the ears and nostrils. However the hotel provides a regular ferry service for piers accessible to the main parts of the city. Taking a tuk-tuk is quicker but hair-raising.

Guest commentsThis hotel is really good value for money and although it is not exactly in a popular tourist location, it is conveniently connected to the city by its very efficient ferry service to the terminal station of the SkyTrain which itself is only three or four stations away from the centre of activities. It has got a spectacular view of the Menam River, and great for the traveller who opts for some peace and quiet. The breakfast was excellent and truly international. The hotel will assume a new brand name under Ramada from September 2008 and I hope this could only mean maintaining excellence rather than over-standardization.

Guest commentsGood base for Bangkok. Just outside the main sweep of the Chao Phraya river ferry, but the hotel runs a free half-hourly boat shuttle to Central Pier (for ferry and skytrain). Nice bar, good pool, gym if feeling energetic, great breakfast buffet and good evening restaurant. Food and drink prices what you would expect - high for Bangkok standards but standard for a good hotel.

Guest commentsA great value-added hotel to stay that offers fantastic views of the majestic Chao Phrya River! Service level is of the highest and the staff are ever keen to offer assistance and greetings. All these, if I may add, done with wide beaming smiles! Their thoughfulness over details amazed [pleasant surprise!] us as we were presented with a large complimentary bouquet of pink roses for our honeymoon! Dinner by the riverside is both memorable and romantic! Breakfast that comes with a wide spread, again by the riverside, is energising and refreshing. They had nice swimming pools and a functional spa that comes with free sauna and steam bath facilities for hotel guests. The slight downside is the location that is quite a distance away from town. But for those who cherish exclusiveness and quiet times, this hotel boasts plenty of both. Thumbs up!!!

Guest commentsgreat to stay on the river at a reasonable price - nice extra treatment and breakfast on the executive floor - a taxi ride away from the oriental hotel and silom road but the hotel has a free shuttle boat to the central area - the only negative was that there were alot of mosquitoes in the lobby lounge but this may be seasonal

Guest commentsHotel a little far away from the city center, but they provide free boat transportation till the nearest station leaving every half an hour, in alternative taxi is VERY cheap. Room are nice, some with bathtub. Quiet location overlooking the river (wonderful sunsets). Breakfast is great, service is friendly. Good choice if you want to save money.
