| Guest comments | I would thoroughly recommend the Metropole as a centrally located and well priced hotel. the rooms are not large but are well appointed. The pool and bar are excellent and the staff are very helpful. |

| Guest comments | We booked the Metropole for the first two nights of our trip in Vietnam. It was very nice, breakfast & pool were great but we could have got better value for the money. Reasonably close to backpacker area & market. |

| Guest comments | I stayed at the Metropole for the last three days of my trip. I had two days at a smaller hotel just around the corner for $35 per night The hotel was perfectly fine, maybe not as flash as the Metropole and did not have a pool. Considering all the hotels I stayed at in Vietnam I feel that the Metropole was a bit expensive, but I can't say a bad word about it. The only reason I stayed there was because of the pool!! Next time I would forget the pool and stay at a cheaper hotel, because they all have air con to cool you down from the oppresive heat!! |
