| Guest comments | We stayed here for a girls shopping weekend, in a superior room, it was a very basic hotel but lots of little extras made it special, like heaps of bathroom products (in dispensers) and robert timms coffee bags.
It was very clean and in a great spot, just out of the city (tram nearby) close to comedy club and several pubs, cafes and restaurants. All these things were about 3-4 minute walk from the hotel so the hotel itself is in a quiet street.
They have parking here so if you are getting a hire car your car will be with you not in some off-site carpark.
One last thing, the staff were super friendly and gave us lots of good tips on where to go and how to get there, where to park etc...
We will stay here again. |

| Guest comments | 1. Bed far too large for room, restricting movement, also making access to fridge very cramped.
2. Sliding door to bathroom needs stopper, came off rail.
3. Shower door sticking.
4. Internet facilities erratic, playing up, also recorded usage often exceeding actual usage.
5. Breakfast prices high, compared with nearby cafes.
6. Room heating needs regulating, coming on at irregular times (depending on whoever is manning the front desk) and usually too hot
7. Dining room needs a facelift, too much like a works canteen.
8. TV reception appalling, even the only watchable channel was fuzzy.
9. Waste bin placed under wall mounted tv resulted in one's head hitting the underside of the mount.
10. Shower facilities were excellent, apart from sticking door.
11. Manager and reception staff were friendly and helpful. |

| Guest comments | I found the miami hotel to be a good hotel to stay at. It is 10 min walking distance of the markets and free city circle bus and only a half hour walk approximately into the cbd. It is convieniently located and the staff are very friendly and helpful. |

| Guest comments | Bed was comfortable and while room was a little small, it was adequate for our needs. Walk-in wardrobe was excellent as was the bathroom. Room was quiet. Would certainly stay there again. |

| Guest comments | Very narrow stair case makes it difficult with cases etc. TV reception was poor with gosting. This is really only a very average motel. My room had a lovely king size bed but no other room to move around. No fresh air at all. Airconditioner was ok but a noisy overhead fan made sleeping uncomfortable. The view out of the only window was looking at a brick wall. No lift so could not recommend this to older people. Staff should wear a uniform, would look more professional. |

| Guest comments | Staff were very helpful. Perhaps they could look at getting the rooms airconditioned as it got hot on a couple of days and airconditioning would have made it more pleasant. Good value for money. |

| Guest comments | The hotel was good with friendly and helpful staff. The only minor negatives were the distance from the Southern Cross Station, though still within walking distance, and the lack of a lift.
Apart from those two minor negatives in terms of value for money I would recommend the hotel and will be considering staying at the Miami Hotel in the future. |
