| Guest comments | Rhino hotel is a very easy 1 min walk from Saiin station, basically when you come out of the main exit turn right and it is above a MOS burger restaurant. Hotel was fantastic, enormous rooms (for Japan) friendly service and most staff speak excellent English. A guide map is provided when you check in and this contains useful info like internet cafes, coin laundry places and important bus stops. I would happily stay here again. |

| Guest comments | Nice hotel located quite far away from the Higashiyama sightseeing district of Kyoto and almost all other sights. We rented a bike and this worked out pretty good, but I would definately stay somewhere more central next time.
Staff was very nice and accomodating. Rooms ok size and ok facilities.
Subway nearby was convenient and there was a nice area with restaurants too, but the location is
NOT that good. |

| Guest comments | My wife and I loved this hotel. It's excellent value for money, and clean, quiet and friendly. Although it's not in the very centre of Kyoto, the subway station is only 30 seconds down the road, and from there it's a 3 or 4 minute journey to the centre of town. The hotel is right beside lots of shops, restaurants, an Internet cafe and a coin-laundry, and buses to many of Kyoto's famous sights leave from just across the street. |

| Guest comments | I had a good experience staying at this hotel. It provides free breakfast. However, it is quite far from JR station (half an hour walk) but it is very close to another train station (non JR). |

| Guest comments | As I travelled alone, I was well received at Rhino; the location is no 1 if you travel by bus; the personnel at the counter seem a little distant and the information about the bus ticket for 2 days was not avalaible, contrary to the information passed at the touristic information center.
Overall, a very nice stay, with the spa made avalaible for clients.
Best wishes for the future. |

| Guest comments | Staff very friendly and helpful, rooms were very clean and big for Japanese size, location was great for us as just around the corner from subway station, also only $12 from main Kyoto JR station to Hotel, Free breakfast was good, offering both western and asian meals.
Lots of great places to eat within walking distance, swimming pool costs extra, We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.... |

| Guest comments | It was a little hard to find (from kyoto station), but once you are there it is an OK location, close to lots of temples, resturants supermarket etc.
It is a little old looking now, but still good for the cheap price.
Watch out for the elevator doors, there is no sensors in them!! |

| Guest comments | The location is very convenient for events at Kyoto University of Foreign Languages. Otherwise, it's a little out of the way of most sights. It is very close to the Hankyu Rail line though, so access to rest of the city is nearby. |
