Guest commentsOne of the best hotels that I have stayed in around the world. I would definately return and stay at this hotel.

Guest commentsThe hotel is currently undergoing some upgrading but we think the room we had was not due for immediate attention. While the room itself was more than adequate, the ensuite we had was modern but supplied by poor plumbing. The water from the shower over the bath drained away so slowly that dirt a scum from the pipes found their way up the pipes and into our bath/shower . The breakfast area was adequate but shabby. Apart from these comments, we were delighted with the location - close to Raffles, the arts precinct, Little India and Orchard Road and other shops. Excellent value for money.

Guest commentsStayed for second time, standard room. Location is good. Rate may be a bit expensive.

Guest commentsThe hotel has upgraded me to the newly renovated service executive apartment, nice and cosy even the outlook of the hotel from outside is a bit run down. Good location with plenty of restaurants and shopping areas just around the corner. Will book the executive room again as the rate is alright as compared to other 4 star hotels.

Guest commentsThe service was unfriendly, very noisy building work is currently underway from 9am to 6pm, the cheaper rooms are unfurnished, tacky looking with dirty bathrooms, the furnished rooms are fine but there are definitely better hotels than this one for roughly the same price.

Guest commentsGood hotel with great staff and buffet. Undergoing renovations on my floor but the staff moved me to another more quieter room. Good buffet.

Guest commentsRoyal At Queens Singapore was very comfortable. The rooms were a little small but very clean neat and tidy. Full breakfast was available every morning and late check out was also offered. An older property but well worth a look at. Excellent location and within walking distance to all shopping, restaurants and the train line. A very pleasant walk to Boat Quay. We would return.

Guest commentsI enjoyed my stay very much at this hotel. I was lucky enough to have one of the newly refurbished upper floor (16th) rooms although only about 50% of the rooms are as yet completed in their refurbishment. There is a 'quaint' arrangement with the neighbouring Allston Hotel whereby you can walk between hotels at 2/F which effectively gives you access to two completely different sets of F & B facilities (unfortunately not the larger Allston swimming pool and gym). Staff were very friendly and helpful and this location would be more convenient if the NRT station next door was not currently closed! I would definitely stay here again once these various issues were resolved.

Guest commentsService from the staff was very hit and miss depending on whose shift it was. The Breakfast was average at best. The location wasn't bad and will probably improve as there seems to be a new MRT station being built at the bottom of the road. Overall the hotel was a bit overpriced for the service and facilities it has to offer.
