Guest commentsStayed in the room with a double bed. Room was the furthest from the main courtyard and swimming pool so it wasnt noisy. Bathroom could have been a bit better, as the shower only had a curtain to stop the water from splashing everywhere, but flooded the whole bathroom floor. It did eventually drain away if left over night. Other than that, it was ok.

Guest commentsRoom was good and clean up to the standard you would expect from any decent hotel. But the general atomosphere of th place escpecially in the public areas was that of a backpackers hostel.

Guest commentsAs budget accomodation i thought it was very good value, my only criticism is that the outdoor leasure area (undercover beer garden) and indoor bar could be spruced up otherwise very comfy.

Guest commentsStayed in the recently renovated hotel rooms.( Must have been done on the cheap!) Bathroom flooded everytime we had a shower as there is not a seperate shower - just part of the bathroom with a drain in the middle. Lock on door was faulty - always had trouble trying to enter the room. Vanity unit in bathroom had no shelving in it or bottom, just a hole going down to a large a pump which 'kicked in' everytime you turned a tap on or flushed the toilet. Room service was poor - some days towels were changed and other days they weren't. Over priced for what it was.

Guest commentsI have never really stayed in a backpackers hotel, I mean this good! It's central (that is the best part ) and the staff are so well trained, so friendly and so helpful! The only complain is that the house cleaning came one early morning and barged into our room..... but I did not complain. Guess it was a genuine mistake. A bit noisy as the room walls are thin. Otherwise it is a great place!

Guest commentsNot suitable for young family as the Hotel is next to a pub/nightclub and loud music is played until 10pm on some nights. Great place for back-packers. The staff are very helpful.

Guest commentsThe room at the Cavenagh was very clean and well fitted. However, it must have been an internal room, as it had no windows. There was a skylight high up, with a side window. That is, from the room you could see nothing of the outside world. I found it rather claustrophobic, and would like to have known about it before accepting it. Other than that, everything about the hotel was quite adequate.
