| Guest comments | It's the second time we stayed in Victoria Hotel. Arrived at 7am, the room was ready even though we didn't specifically arrange for an early check-in - that was greatly appreciated after a red-eye flight from Perth. The room we stayed in was in the newly refurbished east wing, 7th floor. Sparkling clean, new furniture, all possible facilities and very quiet despite central location. Very pleased, but I suggest you insist on the east wing - the main building is a bit shabby though very clean as well. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Definitely will stay there again. |

Realistically, would think this is a 2 star only. Very like some UK hotels, very old with tiny bathroom. |

| Guest comments | Staff very helpful and pleasant. A little more information when we checked in or in the room about parking facilities would have been helpful, but this was satisfactorily resolved.
Found the pillows (feather) uncomfortable and too flat. Some hotels have choices, though we would not expect that as the norm. The bed itself was very comfortable.
Restaurant Alice's Thai is looking a little tired,and dinner service was a little slack. Breakfast service was fine. |

| Guest comments | It's a great hotel, and I will definately stay there again. My only issue was that we were in a non smoking room and the air was thick with cigarette smoke and the windows were bolted shut. |
