Stayed at  PP Princess Resort - Phi Phi Island, Thailand.
Quiet island, with no cars or motorcycles. The main and central area of the island with all kind of restaurants and shops, all in a distance no more than a few hundreds of meters. The View Point peak must be visited in the sunset (350 stairs!!).

We were in Thailand for 2 weeks and found we had too much heavy luggage to make the Phuket to Phi Phi boat and the return trip comfortable. Thought there were way too many people trying to get on and off the boats at the same time. Perhaps they could unload completely and clear the dock before more people try to get on. Next time we would seek another way to get there. We ate at many of the restaurants in the Town Center and they were all good. We like Mama Restos, Chilis, other Thai places. Loved the fruit shakes and Thia pancakes too. We liked renting kayaks and going to Monkey beach for snorkeling the most.

Stayed at  PP Princess Resort - Phi Phi Island, Thailand.
Beautiful island with some fine snorkelling. The breakfast with the sharks tour was dissapointing (saw no sharks whatsoever). Phi phi island is well suited to those under 30. Ko Samui better for those around 30 years old.

Travelling time from Phuket airport to Phi Phi island is much longer than expected. Make sure you arrive at Phuket early morning to get the morning express boat to Phi Phi otherwise will take most of the day.

A Sand 27 August 2001
Stayed at  Holiday Inn Resort Phi Phi Island - Phi Phi Island, Thailand.
Don't miss out on scuba diving the nearby locations or at least snorkeling the reef directly off the beach.

A Almenara 20 February 2001
Stayed at  PP Princess Resort - Phi Phi Island, Thailand.
Don't miss a visit to Bamboo Island. Is very near and the snorkel is marvelous.
