We got around by car. Coming from Singapore, it was a smooth and easy road to hotel destination. We heard so much about Danga Bay from our friends. Ample parking spaces and spoilt for choice of food made us brought our parents to try the foods there especially the lunch buffet of 'Kampung Dishes' which were soo authentic and varieties with we pay for a very affordable price. Those who wish to drive in Johor the signs are very helpful and easy. You will never be hungry at Johor Bahru, almost every turn there will be restaurants and shopping malls are plenty. Traffic is rather busy. Of all, we love Danga Bay so for foodies like us, do look that out!Beautiful at night:)

Compact hotel is strategically located at the heart of Johor city with City square, the largest shopping centre within a 5 min walking distance. In the evening a food street can be located at the backlane serving local delicacy such as barbecue seafood and local fare. A very good option for supper after shopping from City Square. Transportation is convenient to other parts of the city. Holiday Plaza ($6RM by cab) is about 10 minutes drive from the hotel. Good for clothing apparels, personal grooming and a little shopping for CDs and movies. For a good meal with more variety of local fare, you can proceed to Taman sentosa for local fare at a very affordable pricing. Take note to ask for pricing before committing on the food.

City Square Shopping Mall is quite a huge shopping mall to pass time as well as to get some shopping done. Damai Garden nearby Crystal Crown Hotel is a very good and cheap place for seafood and other Asian food.

Going around Senai (the town) is a breeze, as the signages are adequate. Food is plentiful and comes cheap. Try the Mickey Restaurant restaurant, highly recommended by my Girlfriend. Rest assure mice are not the restaurant's only main dish, and get ready to tuck in to lots of other delicacies like seafood, local food, etc.
Please check out the Johor Bahru town if you have the time, and cross over to Singapore and look for me if you have more time. Cheers.
