Lovely place-a bit isolated ie only really the hotel resort there and a few local resturants a short taxi ride away - but this was what we wanted for a few days. Hotel had a booking agent where you could organise trips. Don't expect luxurious resturants outside the hotel -Malay resturants are very basic - don't let that put you off the food can be wonderful.

There is a laundry across the street which charges less than half the price charged by the hotel, whose laundry service is also relatively cheap by western standards.
There are several good local eating places in a complex across the main street, including great seafood places frequented by locals and travelers alike. Taxis were always available though they do not use the meter. It cost 6 Ringit, about US $1.55, to go every where I went.
