Hong Kong is a busy place. There is lots to see and places to go. Ocean Park is worth a day, as is a trip to Macau, China and lots to get around on the islands. Train is excellent frequent and cheap ... trams are cheaper but routes more limited.... Don't forget to visit the Peak but choose a clear day.

Since I've been to Hong Kong many times before, I didn't go to any of the tourist destinations. Basically my trip was just a shopping/r&r trip since I live in China. There are many Western things that I can find in Hong Kong that I can't find anywhere else in China. I also fulfilled my craving for western food so I ate at places like Deli France and Starbucks. I also frequented the local 7-11 and I especially loved City Super in Tsim Sha Tsui because I could get books in English and I could find western, southeast, and Japanese food and ingredients although they are not cheap.
I got around Hong Kong mainly by MTR and foot. MTR is very clean, efficient, fast, and easy to use. Plus the announcements are both in Cantonese and English.

We visited all the main tourist sites and attractions by using public transport. Not only is it cheaper to travel that way but you get to see the sights and sounds of the real Hong Kong, meet its people in everyday situation and appreciate what life is like there. Not just the tourist bits. We especially enjoyed visiting the islands using the ferries.

Hong Kong is an extremely interesting city. We were able to get to all of the places we had time for. We walked a lot, took some city buses and also the ferry. We were able to find some good restaurants very close to the hotel. The trip to the peak was well worth the time, and we did some shopping.

The hotel was close to Nathan Road, the museum, Science Centre, night market, Star Ferry, tailors and many activities. The jet boats station to Canton and Macau is right below and it was easy to access the airport both by airport express and buses.

What can you say about Hong Kong? Easy area to walk around in. Only five or ten minutes walk from a metro station, five minutes from a major bus route. Close to many restaurants, shops, etc.

It would be helpful if the schedule for the hotel's courtesy bus could be posted at Hong Kong Airport Express Railway Station, as a person arriving does not know how long they might have to wait. It is a pity that the hotel offers this excellent service but not many people know about it.
