M Mollot 17 February 2003
Stayed at  BP International House - Hong Kong, Hong Kong.
While in Hong Kong were able to get around the city very easily. Taxis were easily available. The train to the north is easy to arrange. Tours out of the hotel are available. Visited Victoria Peak at night, used the Star Ferry, the tram, buses and taxis. Stanley Market is the best market for shopping and in a nice area of the city.

K Tam 16 February 2003
Stayed at  Royal Pacific Hotel & Towers, The - Hong Kong, Hong Kong.
Just a short walk to shopping centres and duty-free shops. But the restaurants there were crowd of people, took a bit long time for a table.

K Quek 16 February 2003
Stayed at  Stanford Hotel - Hong Kong, Hong Kong.
The hotel is best located in Mong Kok. Food is never a worry as it is only very easily available. Shopping is only like 5 minutes where rows fo shop are for you to shop at very amazing prices.

Great location -- easy access to both the Star ferry and MTR. Hotel located in shopping area -- next to Ocean terminal which has everything you could every want (almost).

M Herrera 29 January 2003
Stayed at  Eaton Hotel - Hong Kong, Hong Kong.
We went to the Victoria's Peak, excellent spot, the Stanley Market, Night market, and downtown Hong Kong, sightseeing, excellent Rose Petal jam purchased in the Mandarin Hotel Cake shop.

S Lo 23 January 2003
Stayed at  Holiday Inn Golden Mile Hong Kong - Hong Kong, Hong Kong.
The shopping places are just a few steps away and it stretches a few blocks out. You can not do wrong by staying at this location. It is so convenient and the "subway" station is just across the street and takes you to Hong Kong side or Central business district.

V Terpe 22 January 2003
Stayed at  Royal Pacific Hotel & Towers, The - Hong Kong, Hong Kong.
The area was clean and had a lot of people around. There is a big shopping complex below the hotel and there were a lot of shops and resturants down the street.

S Kodikara 20 January 2003
Stayed at  Wesley, The - Hong Kong, Hong Kong.
Hong Kong is a facinating place to visit even though a touch expensive even by UK standards. There are plenty of bargains to be had especially if you are in to gadgets and gizmos but avoid the latest models as these tend be similarly priced to UK. MTR was a fantastic way to get around.

Y Komatsu 20 January 2003
Stayed at  Harbour Plaza Metropolis - Hong Kong, Hong Kong.
There is a shopping center next to the hotel. But it open only from 11:00 to 8 or 9:00.

Y Komatsu 19 January 2003
Stayed at  Langham Hotel, Hong Kong - Hong Kong, Hong Kong.
Around Hankow Rd. and Ashey Rd. there're many casual restaurants. It may be a good idea to have rice gruel for breakfast there. Hong Kong nostalgic cafe "Dai pai dong" (Canon Rd) you'll be able to enjoy local coffee "yun-yan". At the "Pacific club" (a part of Harbour City) you can find Hong Kong designer's clothes.
