While in Hong Kong were able to get around the city very easily. Taxis were easily available. The train to the north is easy to arrange. Tours out of the hotel are available. Visited Victoria Peak at night, used the Star Ferry, the tram, buses and taxis. Stanley Market is the best market for shopping and in a nice area of the city.

The hotel is best located in Mong Kok. Food is never a worry as it is only very easily available. Shopping is only like 5 minutes where rows fo shop are for you to shop at very amazing prices.

The shopping places are just a few steps away and it stretches a few blocks out. You can not do wrong by staying at this location. It is so convenient and the "subway" station is just across the street and takes you to Hong Kong side or Central business district.

The area was clean and had a lot of people around. There is a big shopping complex below the hotel and there were a lot of shops and resturants down the street.

Hong Kong is a facinating place to visit even though a touch expensive even by UK standards. There are plenty of bargains to be had especially if you are in to gadgets and gizmos but avoid the latest models as these tend be similarly priced to UK. MTR was a fantastic way to get around.

Around Hankow Rd. and Ashey Rd. there're many casual restaurants. It may be a good idea to have rice gruel for breakfast there. Hong Kong nostalgic cafe "Dai pai dong" (Canon Rd) you'll be able to enjoy local coffee "yun-yan". At the "Pacific club" (a part of Harbour City) you can find Hong Kong designer's clothes.
