The duty free centre adjacent to the hotel was what I found most convenient. Meals were easily settled @ the food court & nearby restaurants and they were unique and tasty.

The place in general was good we only went into Johor Bahru once to do some shopping. Although the mega sale was on couldn't say that I saw great bargains to entice me back to buy. No information on street markets was available only shopping centre info. Not what the bargain hunter is looking for. The resort offered great facilities for families so our children were occupied most of the time.

Very cheap cd's and fantastic food.... Best place to eat seafood is on the hawker stalls down on the seafront by the hospital... Excellent...

Good location. The holiday plaza is just next to the hotel. Very convenient for some last minute shopping.

Good destination for short, short trips and if you are looking for 'cheap and good' seafood - found at the corner coffee shop store along the main road, which is just outside the 'free trade zone' (where Eden Garden Hotel is located within).
But the hotel is a bit 'off' from the main shopping areas such as City Square.

Very convenient for shopping. Taxis charge reasonable from hotel pick-up locations.
