We have visited several islands in Pra Nang Bay by longtail boat and canoe. The canoe trips are beautiful. We have visited several restaurants and they all are great. For shopping we went to Krabi by bus. The market and shops in Krabi have better prices than the little shops in Ao Nang.

Ao Nang Beach. Very nice and close to restaurants, shopping and beach. Took a tour to Chicken Island - Very beautiful beach!

Although not on the beach it is just a short and pleasant ride on a boat to get to any number of wonderful beaches. A five minute ride on the hotels free courtesy bus takes you into Krabi town where you can have a meal, shop or get boats to all of the surrounding islands and tourist spots.
