There isn't a lot to see in Nha Trang, but the beach is a change. The resort the Ana Mandara has a nice gift shop and good for a meal but very pricey. Ladies - do not walk around at night. We had an unpleasant experience on the beach with a local (during the day).

Mainly chilled on the beach and on apartment balcony. The market was fun, Viet-Lac was a great souvenir shop.

Hiring a moped from the hotel cost US$5 per day and is great fun. It lets you get out and about to see Nha Trang (if you can brave the madness on the roads that is). The tour around the market in the morning with the Chef is also an interesting tour and lets you see the non-touristy side of Vietnam (but beware animal lovers, you might find some of what you see shocking!!)

Some good restuarants on the beach. Otherwise the city is lacking in restaurants and shopping. After seeing the big Buddha and the Cham ruin ( a half day) not much left to do or see.
