Stayed at The Menzies Sydney, an ACCOR Hotel - Sydney, Australia.

We liked the Encasa resturant. We went back there again!
We liked the location as we were able to walk most places we wanted to go, but used the hotels recommendation of Euro for the one day we wanted a car.
We loved visiting two of the cities big Churches and Christian City Church Oxford Falls and Hillsong.

Stayed at Saville Park Suites Perth - Perth, Australia.

Perth is a beautiful city, but Fremantle is one of the world's undiscovered gems. Do not miss it! The outback is a must to visit, but make sure that your car is in good order. Driving from Albany to Lake Grace one evening, we encountered only one other vehicle in over 150 miles! If anything goes wrong, there's not a lot of help out there!

Stayed at Ibis Hotel Perth - Perth, Australia.
|
We have taken 2 local tours, it was excellent. During the short stay in Perth, we managed to visit the countryside farms and went to New Norcia Monk Monastery. It was a beautiful place. We have also visited the wildlife park, chocolate factory, winery, swan valley, aboriginal culture centre, few beaches (surprise to see many surfers even during winter) and kings park; basically travelling around Perth. We took train down to Fremantle Market on sunday afternoon; it was an extraordinary place.

Stayed at Heavitree Gap Outback Lodge - Alice Springs, Australia.

If going to Uluru, make sure you stay the night, then hit Kings Canyon the next day. You can stay at a "Roadhouse" for $45-80AU. Also, you DO NOT need a 4wd to visit Uluru, Kings Canyon and the McDonnell ranges. If you are doing some serious overnight camping, you would need a 4wd and not from your normal rental car place.

Stayed at New Esplanade Hotel - Perth, Australia.

Catch the blue CAT bus to orientate yourself to the city; it goes from just around the corner. And take a boat trip down to Freemantle - it's a fascinating place. Ferries depart from a jetty just across from the hotel.

Stayed at Crowne Plaza Coogee Beach - Sydney, Australia.
|
Coogee beach is very beautiful. A must do is the walk along the shore to Bondi Beach. Sydney Harbour was fantastic. The Great Barrier Reef lived up to its name and the Whitsunday islands were gorgeous.
