Stayed at Kompas - Dubrovnik, Croatia.

Dubrovnik is a beautiful city. The promenade in front of the hotel is great for restaurants, cafes, people watching, etc. The beach is rocky but very nice - water is crystal blue. The Old City (Stali Grad) is amazing - very easy to take the bus to & fro.

Stayed at Split - Split, Croatia.

Split is a beautiful place, but if possible wait until the warmer months. In November the place was quiet and tourist-free which was nice, but the town seemed to be a bit closed.

Split was a little dirty and grubby but otherwise a fine holiday destination. Best looking women in the world!
