Stayed at Holiday Inn Dusseldorf City Centre-Koenigsallee - Duesseldorf, Germany.
Dusseldorf is probably an underrated destination for many tourists, but this is really a place for leisurely shopping for high fashion, and the pace of life here is much easier than most German cities. It is easily accessible by direct high-speed trains (about 1.5 hours) from the Frankfurt airport.

Dusseldorf is a great city for business, but not a tourist haven.

Stayed at Ibis Zentrum - Duesseldorf, Germany.
We had a hard time finding the hotel. We must have drove around the Bahnhof for 60 minutes and commited five or six traffice violations. Luckily, we did not run into any trains. I recommend the Irish Pub in the walk platz.
