Do not visit restaurants around Piazza Vittoria and the tourist track to San Michele. The small Trattorias in the village have excellent food to reasonable price. Select the dish recommended by the owner and you can be sure that it will be delicious.

Nice but not cheap! We had dinner at various restaurants on the island and I can't say any were bad.

Food is good especially (and naturally) with pastas and it is reasonably priced. Hotel prices are a bit expensive compared to its grade. Very cozy island with lovely views here and there.

Excellent, only 1 qualm the Capri Blue Grotto tour was expensive for the quality and duration ie €14 for a 3 minute tour of the Grotto. !!

I would recommend to stay at least one night in Capri. That will allow you to see the island without the hordes of tourists, and you will be able to experience the local flavors of the island. Start your day in the morning (like 8-9 am) and hike to the various scenic points in order to enjoy the views all to yourself. The lift to Monte Solaro was amazing, especially in the morning before the tour groups. It is an amazing view of the island and the bay.
