J Hanewald 04 August 2002
Stayed at  Pousada de Sao Tiago - Macau, Macau.
Macau is a small place, easy and cheap to get around. Prices for shopping are lower than Hong Kong

T Wright 04 August 2002
Stayed at  Hyatt Regency Macau - Macau, Macau.
A good place to get away from the hustle and bustle of Hong Kong. Less people and much more relaxed. If you like Portugese food try the Restaurant A'Lorcha but it is wise to reserve a table as it gets very full.

C Moores 02 August 2002
Stayed at  Mandarin Oriental Macau - Macau, Macau.
Hire a bicycle and cycle to all the sights.

E Tsin 01 August 2002
Stayed at  Westin Resort Macau - Macau, Macau.
Macau is quickly loosing its charm but dumping its good chinese "folks culture" like street hawkers, open air macanese barbucue to give way to souless mimickry of westernized "stock architectures".

Taipa Island is very relaxing place and is highly recommended if you ever visit Macau

K Owaki 25 July 2002
Stayed at  Ritz Macau, Hotel - Macau, Macau.
Macau is good place to visit to gambling. But seems not good for sightseeing and shopping. My girlfried seems boring.

T Seng, phuah 24 July 2002
Stayed at  Beverly Plaza Hotel - Macau, Macau.
The hotel is near to the famous casino and near to the jetty too. Overall I enjoyed the stay.

G James 21 July 2002
Stayed at  Westin Resort Macau - Macau, Macau.
We find the blend of Chinese temples and Portugese style building and facades charming, particularly the paved pedestrianised roads in the city centre. The shuttle buses from the resort to the city were quite frequent, and one can easily get around by taxis.

A Hoang 20 July 2002
Stayed at  Holiday Inn Macau - Macau, Macau.
I only walked around Macau, though buses seemed pretty frequent and convenient. The non-gambling sites are located mostly in the center of the city, which are easily within reach by foot from the Casino Lisboa. Two days would be enough to see most of the sites.

O Wee teck 20 July 2002
Stayed at  Hyatt Regency Macau - Macau, Macau.
Prospective travellers should visit the museums in Macau. In addition, if one is a wine or port lover, he should not miss the wine museum, A place which not only exhibit the history of portuguese wine making, it also sells fine portuguese wine and port. Other than that, tourists should not miss the chance of tasting the portuguese cuisine as well.
