Stayed at Eden Garden Hotel Johor Bahru - Johor Bahru, Malaysia.
Good destination for short, short trips and if you are looking for 'cheap and good' seafood - found at the corner coffee shop store along the main road, which is just outside the 'free trade zone' (where Eden Garden Hotel is located within). But the hotel is a bit 'off' from the main shopping areas such as City Square.

Is very inconveniece due to car park cannot access to hotel. I have to park my car at 4th floor and take lift to ground floor together my laggage(when check-in and out) and take another left to hotel room. If Eden Restaurant can serve western food will be better, because outside already have a lot of seafood centre and the price in the high side compaire with KL.

Very convenient for shopping. Taxis charge reasonable from hotel pick-up locations.

JB seems to be mainly for shopping - a big emphasis on this and there are good shopping plazas. Good for a day trip to Singapore where you catch a bus for RM1.70 outside JB station and it takes you to Queen Street in Singapore. The night market is a must to visit - its just food - but good value. found a cheap eating area the usual where locals go to eat not tourists - chicken rice for RM3 and a big tiger beer for RM10.50. Returned 3 times and they got to know our order.
