Hotel is located no more than 4-5 minutes walk from the border. Excellent location if crossing the causeway from Singapore on foot with heavy backpacks. Also close (ie across the road) from major shopping centre, night food markets and Hawk Rental Car.

Johor Bahru is probably the most expensive city in Malaysia, and having said that, everything that can be said of note about the place has been exhausted.

Stayed at  Puteri Pan Pacific Hotel Johor Bahru, The - Johor Bahru, Malaysia.
Very strategic location and there is no problem for me to visit any interesting places such as shopping complex, Lido Beach, Cinema, Zoo etc. I can say that tours taken is less than half an hour. I can suggest for others travellers to having buffet at News Room Restaurant in Puteri Pan Pacific Hotel.

Used taxis for most travel, but they do not use the meters, so it is best to agree on the cost before the trip. Taxis are a cheap way of getting around.

Can organised some local day tour around that area. eg: durian feast, fruit feast or some famous local dish restaurants.
