Did not travel much. Went to Wisma Yakin to get the traditional "Baju Melayu" for my boys and hubby and went to Pertama Kompleks to get "Baju Kurong" for myself. Need not look far to find shoes as the Sungei Wang Plaza, which is just opposite the hotel, gives you plenty of choices. Foot reflexology massage is just opposite the hotel and it goes well after my long tiring walk :)

Nothing much to do in KL. Decided to make a visit to Genting Highland for some cool air and gambling action. The journey took about an hour by car.

Going back to KLIA is a breeze. Just take a cab directly to the airport for RM50 if you have the luxury of time because KLIA is 60 minutes away by cab. If you are in a rush, take the cab to KL Sentral Station then board the KL Ekspres going to KLIA. If you're flying via Malaysia Air or Cathay Pacific, you may also check in your luggage and get your boarding passes at KL Sentral. Fare is RM8 for the cab and RM35 for the train. The trip will only take 30 minutes.

This hotel has the best location for shopping in KL. Backs right onto Lot10 with BB plaza and the new opened Times Square (900 odd shops) right on the doorstep. Also close to the BB monorail station.

The area is good. A lot of shopping mall. Petaling Street is a must for budget shopping but take care of your wallet and other personal belongings.

Try Outback Steakhouse for their wings, deliciousss. Food street across the hotel has one of the greatest satays. And don't miss out on great dim sum at Mandarin Oriental Hotel as well!! Yap, I'm a food lover!
