Pangkor is quiet & only really a beach destination. There's not much on the island to tempt you away from the resort. Worth taking a trip to Cameron Highlands to break a visit to Pangkor.

Lumut Jetty is good for shopping esp for seafood product and also pareo (cloths).
Pangkor town is good for you to bargain dry food e.g: cuttlefish & prawns.
Actually nothing much to visit, but the best things is the enviroment around Pangkor much attractive to me esp. the ocean.

Close to KL so not to strenuous drive. Fast boat transfers. Perfect for a short break (At least 2 nights).

The location is very private so we were not worrying about overcrowded beach even though it was the very peak season of the Chinese New Year when we got there. Transportation to the nearby town was a bit difficult since the Resort didn't provide charter service, but rely mainly on the third party cab and taxi service.

Nice and quiet island. Good place to relax because it's not much to do besides activities at the hotel.
