Going from resort to the town or other places is not a problem but the staff are not helpful to inform us that the taxis that we booked is for two ways. We only found out on the last day of our holidays. There are no fixed rate for the island tour, and we were not inform again that the island tour is only for 2 hour and beyond that we have to pay extra.

The beach at the resort is beautiful. If you want to do nothing but laze in the sun and read a book, it is totally recommended.
TJ is a good place to eat. It is outside of Pan Pac, about 4 km away. Taking a cab costs between 12-15 MYR. Really cheap and good food. The food in Pan Pac is not good at all so I strongly recommend going out for lunch and dinner.

Pangkor is not so big, actually you can see all in a half day trip. There are some jungle trekking routes and a couple of unspectacular historic spots. Also restaurant facilities are not overwhelming. In the end it is a nice little island, but do not go to Pangkor expecting the ultimate active vacations!

Taking a taxi on the round island tour was worth doing and not that expensive. This is not the best location for snorkelling the water is alittle murky.Wild life is fun-monkeys hornbills snakes etc.Almost stepped on a green snake that we later identified as a Viper!!

Nice white sandy beach as opposed to some other parts of the island. The service in the food centre in town is slow.

It is a very small island where you can round the whole island in an hour's time. It has a very very small town with shop houses by 2 streets only. It's an ideal place if you want to buy soveniers and clothes. But remember to bargain.
There are three major spots of seaside in Pangkor: Teluk Nipah, Teluk Ketapang and Teluk Gedung. The sea water is generally clean and clear. In term of food, there are quite a lot of good food in Pasir Bogak.
You have no need to worry of transportation in Pangkor. There a plenty of bicycles and motocycles for rent. Or if you prefer taxi, there are lots of taxis available there. But make sure you get a survey of the price first before you take the taxi to avoid any loses.

Pangkor Island is not as idllyic as some of the other islands in Malaysia. Nevertheless, the location of Pan PAcific is perfect - privacy of the cove and the feeling of being cut off from the rest of the world.
