Chinatown: Had our dinner at the roadside stall along Jln Sultan, which is much cheaper compared to those seafood restaurants, whose staff is always asking us to patronise them whenever we walked pass.
Zouk: Sort of a more high-class pub & disco in town, the way the people dress more formal, the feeling is a bit different as compared to S'pore (also visited another disco that plays mostly chinese pops, but the tremble & high bass of the music makes us stay only for awhile).
One-Utama: A huge shopping complex at Damansara, about RM10 from KL by taxi.
Jln Bukit Bintang: One bak kuk teh restaurant along the main street (opposite the Federal Hotel) sells very nice dishes, definitely worth the money.
The Mall: A fairly older shopping complex compared to others in town, but its close proximity to our hotel makes us visit more than once.

I recommend the central market for excellent deals, and there is a restaurant across from it called Hamedia (something along that line), food was good and cheap.

I am always enchanted with the variety of cultures in Malaysia, the friendliness of the people and the helpful attitude concerning business. The country is splendid and the new KL airport is a compliment to the high standards expected by both business travellers and tourists. The only adverse comment is the quality of some taxis (in poor state of repair or dirty), also some of the taxi drivers are not fully conversant with all areas of KL or cannot speak or understand English (usually older Chinese drivers}.

It is located in a convenient location with the light railway station & taxi stands within 1 minute walk. There is a wide variety of food at the buffet at the hotel every night(RM52++). You must however get value for money by ensuring you can sample majority of the dishes. Tea, Coffee & water are included in the price.

Travelled by LRT and taxi. I had to go to KLCC for breakfast as not much information about the nearest restaurant which provide local foods.

The hotel lobby is situated on the 9th floor. I wonder if that would make it difficult for the staff to help tourists get cabs. Hotel is just beside the Mall -- and nothing much apart from that.
