Getting a taxi outside Suria KLCC can be quite a frustrating experience, espcially around 5pm and in rainy weather. Be prepared to pay double and forget about the meter. It suddenly doesn't exist! Take note of honest and generally good taxi drivers. Get their name cards and call them the next time you need to get around.

Easy to get around. Hotel is very central to the business district, shopping, nightlife. Just 2 minutes from KLCC and the towers. Got taxi from airport, but there is also a very good train system in place.

Taxis vary in price a lot and although some are honest, be wary of others who will get as much as they can get away with. Food is aplenty everywhere you go and do queue early to get tickets to go up the Petronas towers!

We took a private tour with a cab driver and we felt we received excellent value for our money ($40 Canadian for 4 to 5 hours).

Went to Malacca. Nice town. Rented a taxi. Airport is too far away from the city.

One of the points of advantage of the Equatorial is the situation in the middle of the so called of KL. You can move, even on your own feet, within minutes to dozens of good restaurants (various Asian or western styles), bars, banks, shopping centers and other hotels for conferences etc. And if you hit the rainy period of the day you have the choice between ordinary taxi or a Hotel Limousine . . .
