Boracay Island is everything I've expected it to be - fine white sand like nothing else in the world. Friendly people, good food. I will recommend it to anyone in the US.

Nigi Nigi is located at a more lively area of White Beach, with a lot of restaurants and bars near by, however still quiet at night.
If you want it more quiet Niigi Nigi 2, Nigi Nigi's new resort in the northern part of White Beach can be recommended. However, the beach in this area is often used for events, concerts etc. And during this events it can be noisy there, day and night. So better check before you book.

A beautiful tropical island with great beaches. Good golf only 10 minutes away, a very serene and relaxing spa - Mandala Spa - 20 minutes away, and some great restaurants eg Caribo (Carribean food - superb), Manana (Mexican), Banza (Portuguese), and Cafe Sun Thai.
The Philipinos love children and are great babysitters when you want some time to yourself.

A great place to chill out for a few days or weeks. Completely relaxed. Great diving and great beach. Only complaint is that the food is generally very average although good value.

Great, inexpensive, (US exchange rate)and relaxing holiday. Don't bring too much luggage - first you won't need much and it's tough to transfer between the small boat and the beaches. May get some splashes on the ride over, but that's why you're there right!

We actually had a pre-arranged tour from Manila via Cebu and ending at Boracay. So Boracay for us was just to relax before travelling to Hong Kong and England. Therefore snorkelling and Island hopping was the most we did in Boracay.
All the restaurants that we ate had good food,
we especially like buying seafood and having it cooked for us at the market.

Highly recommend 'Waling - Waling' for grilled food and 'La Reserve' for lobster. Also, recommend fruit shakes which are available from almost any restaurant. And of course, crepes from Cafe Bretonne.

Boracay is a great place to get away from it all - Not much to do apart from lazing on the gorgeous white sandy beach or swimming in the crystal blue waters. I would recommend the following restaurants: Banza Portuguese Restaurant, Melinda's Garden and Nigi Nigi Nu Noos. As the island is quite small you can get around either on foot, or by tricycle, motorbike or boat. Besides White Beach, it is well worth exploring the other beaches on the island.

Boracay was absolutely beautiful. We stayed at the quiet end of White Beach and it was very peaceful. We had some good eats at Real Food (an Indian Restaurant with great atmosphere and friendly staff.) All in all, a pleasant vacation.
