Took the Hatyai tour for 250 B. I was fine with a seafood lunch included. Also went to Tiger Show. Don't even think of going there. The show was bad...very bad. They don't even look sexy or perform professionally.

If you go to The Pubb before 8 p.m. you get a serious discount on food; it has a good English menu and excellent food for value. After 8 it turns into a bar with live music, if you prefer to go then.
Downtown Hat Yai was small enough to walk around in. But we thought it was close to the ocean. Well, it is - about 30 km - but next time we would go straight to the beach at Songkla without staying in town.
